What a year it's been, from fires to floods. Our province has been hit so hard, and our hearts go out to everyone that has been impacted.
Against all odds, we have fine here at LaHave. Really, we mean it.
The volume of rain made the river high and the current strong, but just enough to make tubing thrilling.
And as grateful as we are for our good fortune, we are even more grateful to those who have continued to come camping with us despite the disasters, weather, travel conditions, etc.
This has been our busiest season yet!!
We cannot thank you all enough for bringing your business to LaHave. The revenue is going right back into the park so that we can make it the best that it can be for everyone.
To name a few of the upgrades we've made this season... We have installed a new septic system, built a new road sign, repainted the Tiny Cabins and picnic tables, installed new culverts and resolved drainage issues, continued to further road work, built new horseshoe pits, and much more!
Some of this work would not have been possible without the fundraising efforts of our seasonal campers. With the unforeseen infrastructure challenges on our hands, they have volunteered their time and fundraised so that we can continue with special projects as planned; the horseshoe pits, a new dock, and an upgraded dog park.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone that has camped with us, helped us to spread the word, stopped in for an ice cream or mini golf. It is a beautiful thing to see this campground come back to life and be enjoyed by all ages!
We are open until October 15th this year, and we hope we will see you again soon!
